Facts in World Fact Book

1. In the world fact book it said that The United States is number 60 on the median age list with a median of 38.1
      This Relates to what we are learning in class because we are learning about the ages of people in different places compared to the United States. Also this is interesting because you would expect a large highly advanced and wealthy country to be higher up on the chart but we are number 60th.
2. Monaco the richest country in the world has almost the lowest sq/km in the world at 2 sq/km's.
      This Relates to what we are learning because we learned that they are the richest in the world but the only have 54 people as of 2017. This is interesting because you'd think that a very wealthy country would have one, more people, and two would be bigger and possess more land.
3. China uses 5, 920,000,000,000 kilowatts of energy.
      This relates to class because it shows how much the population effects resources used and things that can be down falls of major countries and cites like pollution and lack of food, water, energy, oil, etc. This is interesting because it out ranks every country by far in energy consumption. China uses about 3 trillion kilowatts more that the USA and the USA is number 2 in the world.
4. Afghanistan has the highest child death rate at 110 per 1000 child.
       This relates to class because it shows how the population can be affected by one thing. This is interesting because you would expect Niger to be the highest death rate for children because it it ridden with disease
5. China has the largest work force in the world
       This relates to class because it shows us earths population. This is interesting because there are not a lot of young people in that area because of laws of the amount of kids you can have.
