MORE MAPS!
Today in class we learned more about maps and geography. Today we learned about the different time zones and what time it is in certain places in the world. Today we took notes on GPS. GPS stands for Global Positioning System. Each point on the earth is unique, form where it is to its characteristics. Prescribing features is an essential building block for geographers. GPS is so important to today’s geagrphical studies because geographers because in order for them to describe a place on earths surface it is much more accurate and easier to identify the location.
