Today's Class and The Day Before Essays Are Due

In today's class we had the whole class period to work on our essays. I feel confidant about my essay because when its mostly opinion and not just strait finding and writing down facts its more enjoyable and makes me feel more confidant. I enjoy typing essays like these because when I first start I normally procrastinate and put it off to the last second but when I really start going I like it and I get down some really good things and a lot of teachers I've had in the past have really enjoyed reading my essays. On this essay though once I got cranking I looked at my screen and I said to myself "oh my I've already got so much". Also when I normally get done long papers like this I like to look at it and see what I've accomplished.

Todays Class

In today's class we did our blog and mid term essays for human geography. Mr. Schick wasn't here today so we had a sub, Mrs Gauthier. In the beginning before class it was a little rowdy but everyone calmed down and got to work. I got a lot done today because of the amount if time we had. I really am happy that he had this time because now I will have more time to do things at home that I enjoy doing since I don't have to spend as much time on this. The essay feels like it was going to be hard and I'm not going to lie in the beginning it was pretty  hard but once I started rolling it was pretty simple.

Test Today

In today's class we had a test on migration. It was some what easy but there were a couple of questions that I knew it was either this one or the other so I took an educated guess. I feel like I should've reviewed the subject more than I did. Although when I looked at the test I was a littler relieved too because I thought most of the questions were going to have a lot of similar answers so if you didn't know one it would make you five times more likely to get it incorrect.

Today's Class

Today in class we reviewed what we have been learning and went over what is required for our exam essays. Our essays consist of five paragraphs and answers one of the three options he gave us. Normally we would do the essay the day of the exam but he wants us to take our time and write a good essay because during the exam we are timed and he doesn't want us just writing down gibberish that doesn't make sense.  I like this idea because I can feel less stressed and I don't have to think about during the exam about writing a five paragraph essay including with the whole test withing the one hour and forty five minute. I decided to pick option B because I felt like I could type the most about this because the question is something that I don't mind discussing and I have a lot of opinions and Ideas about it. I plan on typing this this week over the week so I'm not cramming Thursday night.

Today's Class

In today's class we continued to learn about mitigation from the text book power point and we watched the video that goes with the slide show. Some things I learned from this class is that half of the unauthorized immigrants come from Mexico. Also I learned that a lot of problems have been created since the Quota Act of 1924 because it was aloud a lot of unauthorized immigrants to cross over with out the papers they need to be legal. The topic of the class was unauthorized immigration and how it is being fixed and how its not being fixed/getting worse.

Today's Class

In today's class we read a long packet and took notes on it. I'm not going to lie it was a pretty boring class. We just sat there and looked and read at this paper and wrote down the important stuff. We learned about different acts that were passed for immigration laws. I prefer having the discussions with the class and going through the power points more that sitting in quite copying down important information.

Today's Class Discussion

In class today we talked about or unit on immigration and had a class discussion about what we believed we thought was right on that subject. Today I learned that for people seeking asylum they would have to wait a really long time to be heard and get into the U.S. Sometimes it would take a couple years to be able to get in. Sometime people would have to live back in the country they were coming from which is kinda bad because most of the time the people are getting oppressed and if they get sent back that could be really bad.

Test Today/Last Class

Today we had our final test and it was out last class. The test was hard because I kept getting Hinduism and Buddhism facts mixed up. Today ...
